HIGHLANDS PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH (PCA)
OUR CHURCH
Meeting people where they are and helping them become maturing and equipped followers of Christ.
Worshiping Jesus and recognizing the world will know we are his disciples by how we love one another, we strive for intentional, transparent, warm, interdependent body life, welcoming newcomers into a community of grace in the context of mutual accountability.
OUR PASTOR - Tom May
Tom May attended Reformed Theological Seminary from 1983-1986. He and his wife, Linda, served with a Church Planting Team in Paris, France for 11 years. After serving in several churches in the States since 1997, God led them to Highlands in January of 2014.
“Coming to Highlands has been a great experience for us. This church community puts a strong emphasis on relationships and “being the church”, not just “doing church.” After meeting many of the folks here back in November 2013 the word that came to my mind was “unpretentious.” I tell fellow pastors that Highlands is the best kept secret in the PCA. Our Christ-centered focus is lived out as we seek to meet people where they are and help them in their spiritual journey to become maturing and equipped followers of Jesus.” – Tom May
OUR STAFF
Dan Hudson
Worship & Youth Ministry
Dan found Highlands as a Covenant College student ('00). He now serves as the part time Director of Youth Ministry and Music. He is also a firefighter for the Dalton Fire Department. Dan and his wife Shanna have been married for 18 years and have 4 children.
Dan's desire for youth ministry is to support parents as they lead their kids through the teenage years. He is passionate about seeing young people wrestle with life's biggest questions and develop a coherent, Biblical worldview.
Dan's passion is for corporate singing to be part of the fabric of Highlands life. And for songs to come naturally in times of greatest joy and need.
